Obituary
Robert William Moore

December 9, 1939 — July 31, 2021

Robert "Bob" William Moore, 81, of Loganville, Georgia passed away on July 31, 2021 with loved ones surrounding him.

The family will receive friends for a celebration of Bob's extraordinary life on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 11 a.m.—1 p.m. at Bill Head Funeral Homes in Tucker, Georgia. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, Georgia.

To know Bob was to love him. He was a dedicated and loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and soon-to-be great grandfather and was cherished by all of his family. He had an unbeatable outlook on life and was surrounded by his loving and caring family as he fought a brave battle through Pancreatic Cancer. He was quick-witted, sharp-minded, warm-hearted and the best people-person to have ever met…he never once met a stranger. His greatest joys in life were his relationship with the Lord and his family. He also enjoyed sweets, hunting, fishing, family picnics, attending Sunday church service, visiting the Great Smoky Mountains and Disney World, rooting for Georgia and Clemson football, attending and cheering on his grandchildren's sports games, planting vegetables in his backyard garden, putting together puzzles, and woodworking including making bird houses, as well as Easter eggs and Christmas ornaments for the grandchildren to gather together and paint. He will be missed endlessly and remembered by all who knew him as a kind and gentle soul.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Byrd Moore, his daughters Teri Moore DeFir (Sam) and Tracy Moore Watkins (Richard), his son Robert William Moore Jr. (Miranda), his grandchildren Abby, Victoria, Madelyn, Riley, Josh, Russell, Porter, Olivia, and Molly, his forthcoming great granddaughter (due early 2022), and his brother Ted Moore (Marianne). He is preceded by his mother and father, Nettie Grey Fite and Robert Jefferson Moore.
