Wanda G. Varble, 79, of Jerseyville passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Willow Rose Rehab and Healthcare in Jerseyville. She was born March 22, 1943 in Grafton the daughter of Loie and Georgia Naomi Palmer Wright. She married Benny E. Varble on January 5, 1968 in Jerseyville and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2022.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Varble and Christopher L. Varble both of Jerseyville; one brother, Vernon L. Wright of Delhi and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lois Wright, Anita Goewey and Laveeda Reeves.
Mrs. Varble retired from Wal Mart in Jerseyville. She loved to travel and enjoyed knitting and playing bingo.
A private service will be held with burial at Providence Cemetery east of Carrollton.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
