Ella Mae Robinson, 88 of Jacksonville passed away January 10, 2008 at St. Vincents Hospital. She was born February 15, 1919 and lived most of her life in Akron, Ohio prior to moving to Jacksonville in April of 1997. She retired from Fred Arborgast, Inc. after many years of service. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and volunteered in various organizations at the church, and also active in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Kitchen Band. Mae is survived by son, Burlen "Jim" Robinson, Jr. of Jacksonville; daughter, Marlene Mae Smith of Akron, Ohio. Funeral service will be 10:00a.m. Monday, January 14, 2008 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Montgomery officiating.
