Harold E. "Hap" Boatman, 57, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Wesley Drive United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jacklyn McNeil, of the church, and the Rev. Terry Atkins, of St. Olaf Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Plainview Cemetery at Plainview. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Mr. Boatman was born in Plainview. He retired as staff sergeant from the Air Force. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Baptist.

He married Glennda Atkins in 1997 at Amarillo.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Tina Marie Betz of Oklahoma City and Lisa Ann Mark of Amarillo; his father, Howard Boatman of Plainview; and three grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Our Father's House in care of CityChurch.
