Jacqueline R. Brant, 78 died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Heritage House Convalescent Center.
Born Nov. 10, 1916, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of John and Anna Sosbe Brant.
Miss Brant was a lifelong resident of Shelby County. She was a farmer and worked at the former Admiral Co. in Shelbyville for five years. She was preceded in death by a half brother (Wade Bowman). Survivors include a brother, Robert Brant of Shelbyville; a niece, Ann Hoyt of Royal Oak, Michigan; two great nieces and two great nephews. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Carmony Ewing Harrison Street Funeral Home with the Rev. William Horner officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
