Mrs. Maude A. Brown, 80, died Thursday morning at the Rust Nursing Home. She formerly resided at 128 East High St, Eaton.She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church and the Eaton Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and two sons, Burl and Arthur.

Survivors include one son, Virgil Brown of Eaton; one daughter, Mrs. Captolia Ernst of Eaton; six brothers, Conor Adams and Carson Adams, both of Florida, John Adams of Tennessee, Robert of Franklin, Rex of New Mexico and Elmer of Idaho; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Overbey of Suger Valley; one half sister, Mrs. Juanita Karacia of Germantown; one step-sister, Mrs. Louise Burns of Eaton; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Brown were held Sunday at the First Baptist Church 1320 North Maple St, Eaton, with Rev. Fred Hill and Rev. Charles Hunter officiating. Burial was in Mound Hill Union Cemetery. The Girton-Schmidt Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
