Harry D. Young, 86, of Oneida, passed away Monday evening, August 30, at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville. He was the son of the late Jack Young and the late Ettie Landrum Young. Mr. Young is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Young of Albany, Ind.; one son, Jessie Young of Norfolk, Va.; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, September 3, at the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Roy Blevins officiating. Burial was in the Hazel Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Carl Boyatt, David Brewster, Rick Duncan, Edison Jones, Gary L. Murley, and Amon Voiles. West-Murley Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
