Dennis Hermen, was born August 10, 1944, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Harold and Thelma Hermen. He was raised in Sterling, Colorado, and graduated from Sterling High School, in 1962. He joined the Army and served 2 years in Germany. He was very proud of his time in the service.

He married Paula Runestrand, in Fargo, ND., in 1966. It was in Fargo, where they raised their family.

Dennis was employed by Francis Petersen Auto and Muscatell Automobile, until his retirement, in 2006.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Roger and Ed; and sisters: Sharon and Sandra.

He leaves behind his wife, Paula; sons: Mark (Jennifer) and Trent (Renae); daughter, Jill; 2 grandchildren: Rebecca and Alex; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service in his honor, will be held Friday, October 14, at 11:00 am, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Fargo National Cemetery.
