Bob G. Atkinson died Friday, July 7, 1989 in Hurricane, West Virginia. He was bom in Muhlenberg County, had lived in West Virginia for 34 years, and was a retired carpenter. At the time of his death survivors included three sons, Henry P. Atkinson of Waverly, Ohio, Lloyd E. Atkinson of Kent, Ohio, and Richard F. Atkinson of Tucson, Arizona; five daughters, Mrs. Garnetta R. White of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Rowena G. Cain of Pliny, West Virginia, Mrs. Perdita J. Andrews and Mrs. Karen L. Tarr, both of Tucson, and Mrs. Rebecca G. Lamb of Longmont, Colorado; 29 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Shutt of Greenville and Mrs. Floella Baker of Hendersonville, Tennessee. Burial in Unity Cemetery.
