Obituary for Lillie Louise Runels
Lillie Louise Runels, 80, of Monroe, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Cochran, GA to the late Julius B. and Elizabeth (Cofer) Hogan. Lillie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and Nana. She was a hard worker, very giving and the matriarch to her family.
Lillie loved flowers, crocheting, yard sales, fishing, cooking, doing crafts and watching wrestling on TV. She enjoyed being outside as much of the time as possible. Most of all, Lillie loved her family and spending time with them. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Runels, Sr, son's Bobby and Ray Evans, and grandson, Dustin Spear. Her memory will forever be cherished by her son's, Bill Evans, J J Runels (Lillie); grandchildren, Leslie Evans, Bryun Evans, Jason Hovey (Denise), Chance Runels, Chad Evans, Rachel Evans, and Josh Evans; great grandchildren, Valarie, Autumn, Parker and Elijah Evans, Alex Hovey; brother, Leroy Hogan; along with many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

Funeral Services for Lillie will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services with Dr. Jerry H. Barrett officiating. Interment will follow the service at Jersey Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
