Lived in Mansfield, where he married his wife, Julia Thompson, in 1835. (They did not have children, until late in life when they "adopted" (formally or informally) Christine Johnson. Seventeen-year-old Christine (FG #61449463) was living with them in 1880 (as recorded in the census) as a servant. She married the much older George Cash of Evans NY sometime in the mid 1880's.)
Fearing was a farmer.
Based on the census, they lived in Connecticut until sometime in the 1860's when they moved to Portland, New York. Fearing passed away there in 1897.
