Carl Stanley Clark passed away on Monday September 26, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

Carl was the second child born to Keith and Violet Jean Gray Clark. He was born on May 1, 1943. He grew up in Lehi where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Carl attended Lehi High School where he played basketball and football. He made the All Region football team and graduated in 1961.

He married Susan Degelbeck and together they had eight children: Brian (Trudy), Connie (Lester) Sweat, Jody (Russ) Makin, Jill (Jeff) Kleinman, Britt (Natalie), Shay (Samantha), Tyler (Hillary), Lee (Megan).

Later, Carl married Nancy Bushman on Dec 20, 1993, adding Wade (Cassidi) Lehmberg to the family.

During high school, he worked at Lehi Sugar Factory and Larsen's Grocery Store. After high school, he went to work for the Soil Conservation Service. There he helped build dams, snow surveying and working with local farmers to improve their farms, making friends along the way. After working 33 years at the Soil Conservation Service, he opened Clark Cabinet and Mill with his sons, where he worked another 22 years.

He loved spending time with his family, camping and hunting. Carl enjoyed his days working on the farm where he raised horses, sheep and steers. Many memories were made with grandchildren working on the farm. Carl and Nancy loved to travel around, going to horse sales and shows.

Carl is survived by his wife, Nancy; brother, Ron (Marsha) Clark; his children, 34 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Norma and Lynette; son, Brian; and granddaughter, Madison.
