Richard McClure, age 86, of Media died on March 3rd. Mr. McClure was a lifetime Media resident and a graduate of Media High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He made a career as a self-employed general contractor. He previously worked as a machinist for Scott Paper and as a mechanic for Van Wyck Oldsmobile. Mr. McClure had many hobbies including wood carving and hunting. He also loved to garden and work on cars. Richard was preceded in death by his step-son, David Blosenski. The funeral and burial in Calvary Cemetery will be private.
