Born on October 3, 1950 to James and Olga (Saccone) Terranova, Linda was raised in Boston, MA along with her 6 siblings Diane, Ronnie, Billy, Joey, Susan, and Mary. Linda was a graduate of Boston College and pursued graduate studies at Lesley University in Cambridge. She moved to Milford, CT in 1976 where she raised her cherished family.
She was a lifelong educator and taught English Language Arts at Ponus Ridge Middle School in Norwalk for 21 years where she was loved by and devoted to her students and colleagues. Linda was a beautiful, selfless, kind mother with strong faith and a proud, doting grandmother. She loved cooking for her family, mystery novels and movies, and nature. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Days will pass and turn to years but we will forever remember you with silent tears.
Linda is survived by her sons Matthew Ducsay of Wallingford and Erik Terranova and wife Stephanie of Milford, her precious grandchildren Grace and Cannon, and is predeceased by her beautiful daughter Alexandra.
A memorial service celebrating Linda's life will be held at 11a.m., on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at St. Gabriel's Church, 26 Broadway, Milford, CT. Family and friends are welcome. Donations in memory of Linda can be made to the American Cancer Society.
