John Carver "J.C." Gage, 81, Gray, passed away Friday, August 16, 2019. J.C. was born in Mitchell County, NC to the late Bertha Verna and Carroll Gage.
J.C. worked in the service department at Stowers Machinery Corp., a local Caterpillar dealer, for over 40 years. He was previously a member of Keystone Presbyterian Church for many years, where he served as an elder, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, and a choir member. For the last five years, he has been a member of First Church of the Brethren. J.C. was also a member of the Johnson City Senior Citizens "Musical Voices". He enjoyed working in his garden and wood working.
In addition to his parents, J.C. was preceded in death by: one son, Michael Wayne Gage, in 1980.
