Last Rites for Rialto Pioneer Woman Set
Mrs. Martha Tibbot, Resident of Rialto For 60 Years, Dies : Last rites for Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Tibbot, 87, one of Rialto'S last surviving pioneers who died Monday at a San Bernardino rest home, will be held at 10 a.m. today from the Ingold chapel. Interment will be in Rialto Park cemetery. Mrs. Tibbot made her home at, 237 North Olive street in Rialto, where she had lived 60 years. She was a native of Woodford county, Ill.
CITY HALL BUILDER
Her late husband, Charles Tibbot was a former mayor of Rialto and was one of the original builders of the city hall.
Surviving are three sons, Clarence and Ernest of San Bernardino and Earl of Los Angeles; two daughters, Mrs. W. W. Tolle of San Bernardino and Mrs. U. E. Lodge of Rialto; and six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Services today will be conducted by the Rev. Don S. Ford of" the San Bernardino Methodist ' church. The family has requested that flowers be omitted.
