Logan Don Ratcliff, 84, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 13, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Old First Orange Baptist Church in Orange with Reverend Keith Meyer officiating. Entombment will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on November 24, 1934, he was a member of an Orange pioneering family. He was the son of Sidney Charles Ratcliff and Mable P (McClellan) Ratcliff. Logan was a Senior Civil Structural Designer for Petrocon Engineering and was a member of many organizations including the National Rifle Association, National Woodcarver Association, Texas Woodcarver Association, and the American Quarter Horse Association. He was ordained a Baptist Deacon in 1969 and served at Old First Orange Baptist Church as well as Winfree Baptist Church. Logan loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Mable Ratcliff; his siblings; and his great-grandson, Bentley Deats Outlaw.

Logan is survived by his loving wife, Karen Ratcliff; children, Donna and Bill Williams, Myra and Perry Swiney, Pam and Ed Worthy, and Donny and Stacy Ratcliff, all of Orange; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Corey Stephenson, Chad Granger, Edwin Worthy, IV, Chad Hebert, Daniel Pachar, and Jarod Fenner. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Outlaw, Isa Garcia, and Nick Daigle.
