FORMER LOCAL TEACHER DEAD
Mrs. Flora L. Hubbard Barns, 73, former resident of this county, died April 16, at her home in Lenhaven, Fla., according to word received by relatives. funeral services were held there.
Mrs. Barns for years taught in the Bartholomew county school and was well known. She left here about 18 years ago and for a time taught school at St. Joseph, Mo. From there she went to Florida.
Her husband died a number of years ago.
Surviving are two brothers and a sister, Bertram and Arthur S. Hubbard and Miss Caroline Hubbard, all residing south of the city.
