MARGARET JEANNE TURNER, age 78 of Lewisburg, OH died Saturday, October 5, 2002 at Friends Fellowship Health Center in Richmond, IN. Born on July 6, 1924 in Lewisburg, OH she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Vida Amstutz Althaus. She was a 1942 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School and attended Miami University at Oxford, OH. She was a retired nurse having worked in the medical offices of Dr. Everett Paul Trittschuh and Dr. Elmer Tomboli in Lewisburg. Member of the Lewisburg Chapter of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority and Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg. She is preceded in death by her first husband Kermit Howell and her husband of 28 years Larry Turner. She is also preceded in death by Brothers: Judd and Jim Althaus.
She is survived by Sons: Daniel Scott and Charles Kristopher Howell both of Lewisburg, OH and Daughter: Barbara Jo Kendall of Brownsville, IN. Four Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2002 - 11:00 A.M.(Ohio Time) at Trinity Lutheran Church - 511 North Commerce Street- Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Brian Dillahunt officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 9, 2002 from 5:00-8:00 P.M.(Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio and one hour prior to the service at the church.
