Mrs. Mary I. Myers, 79, formerly of 315 Hillview Court, Trotwood, died Sunday morning at Brookhaven Nursing Home in Brookville after a long illness, a native of Darke County, she was a former employee of Delco Products of Dayton, Hittle’s in Fort McKinley and Woolworth’s before retiring in 1967. She was a member of Fort McKinley United Methodist Church. Her husband Willard died in 1981.

Survivors include one son, Jack of Dayton; three sisters, Abbie Getz of Dayton, Alice Hofacker of West Manchester and Maeno Sharpe of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Roy Heckathorn of Arcanum; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family at Barnes Funeral Home – Lewisburg Chapel, with the Rev. James A. groves officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg. There will be no public calling. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
