A. Carville "Peck" Foster, Jr., 89, of Dallastown, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Born in Parkton, MD, he was the son to the late Alfred Carville Foster, Sr., and Dorothy Jane (Earl) Foster. He was the husband of the late Carol E. (Seibert) Foster.

Peck graduated from the former Sparks High School, Class of 1949. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, farmer, and an Insurance Agent. He served in various associations over York County. Peck was most recognized as a Republican to the PA House of Representatives 1973-1992 as the State Representative from the 93rd District to the PA State Legislature. He enjoyed baseball, Bluegrass music, playing guitar with various groups, and was an active member of Cedar Grove U.M.C.

Peck was survived by his three stepchildren, George Dvoryak and his wife Susan, Lynn Ruths, and Rex Ruths; granddaughters, Kathleen Kauffman and her husband Brant, Stacey Heiden and her husband Jordan and Kelly Reynolds and her husband Robert; two great granddaughters Rylee and Kaylee; three great grandsons Sutter, Brady and Brodie.

A public viewing will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349.

A private funeral service will be held at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church; 2015 Mt. Carmel Rd., Parkton, MD. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove United Methodist Cemetery.
