Richard J. Cassidy, 74, of Plains, died peacefully in his sleep,
Monday, September 20, 2022. Born on May 27, 1948, Dunmore, Lackawanna
County, PA. He was the son of Richard E. Davis and Mary Agnes (Cassidy) Emmett.
Educated in area schools. He was a Veteran and served in the U.S.
Army. Employed at L.C.T.A. (Luzerne County Transportation Authority) in Wilkes-Barre, for seven years, he was a spotter. He retired April 2021 a little over ayear ago.
He was an avid Pool Player, winning many tournament awards
over the years.
Preceded in death by his father, mother, and stepfather William T. Emmett and his Cat Tom.
Surviving are his partner, brothers, sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
