Toby Lynn Gathright, age 52, resident of Texarkana, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 17, 2022, in Nashville, Arkansas, surrounded by family and friends. He was born to Harold Lynn and Willa Mae Christian Gathright on May 16, 1970, in De Queen, Arkansas.

He was a 1988 graduate of Lockesburg High School and went on to obtain his Electrician License. Toby was a one-of-a-kind man who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Anyone who knew him would describe him as friendly and always willing to help. Toby worked at Domtar as an Electrician and was a member of the Emergency Response Team for twenty years, gaining many friends throughout the years. He was a volunteer firefighter for more than seventeen years for the City of Lockesburg.

Toby married the love of his life, Lori Ann Pickett, on November 5, 2016, in Lockesburg. Toby spent his days enjoying time spent with Lori, always looking for their next adventure. During his time off, he enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Gathright; his grandparents, Herman and Bertha Christian, and Guy and Ida Gathright; and his granddaughter, Emma Kay Lyle.

Toby leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of five years, Lori Gathright of Texarkana; his mother, Willa Gathright of Lockesburg; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and April Gathright of Lockesburg; two sons, Ben Gathright of Lockesburg, and Shane Gathright of Ashdown; two daughters, Whitley Williams of Lockesburg, and Shannah Gathright of Lockesburg; three grandsons; four granddaughters; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Toby Gathright will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the Horatio Assembly of God Church with Bro. John Gutierres and Brad Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lockesburg.
