Deborah Lou Balkman of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2022.

Known for her ever-present radiant smile that would brighten everyone's day, Debbie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a talented artist who created dozens of beautiful paintings that will live on as artifacts to remind her family of her tender spirit.

Debbie married the love of her life Joseph D. Balkman in October of 1967, and they were constant companions from that day forward. A master gardener, her joy was creating magical spaces in and around their home.
