Known for her ever-present radiant smile that would brighten everyone's day, Debbie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a talented artist who created dozens of beautiful paintings that will live on as artifacts to remind her family of her tender spirit.
Debbie married the love of her life Joseph D. Balkman in October of 1967, and they were constant companions from that day forward. A master gardener, her joy was creating magical spaces in and around their home.
Debbie and Joe are survived by their children Lynn Balkman Maurer of New Jersey, PA, Travis Balkman of Alma, AR, Heather Balkman McNeil of Little Rock, AR, and Marae Balkman Graham of North Little Rock, AR. They are also survived by their grandchildren Brian, Amy, Cole, Cooper, Gabe, Eve, Joseph, Emily, Jake, and Wes. Debbie is also survived by her sisters Pam Longanecker and Patty Sears.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Joe and her parents Dallas and Francis Gamble.
Debbie will be greatly missed by her family. We have peace knowing she is healed with our Lord. Till we meet again sweet Momma. We love you!
