Ann Reimann Johnson
1943 ~ 2022

Her smile was infectious. She was a fast friend to those she met. More than anything else, she loved her husband and family fiercely and was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker.

Born in Salt Lake City to Carl Frederick Reimann and Gladys Fidler March 16, 1943, Ann was the youngest of four children.

She graduated from East High School.

On June 21, 1963 she was sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple to her sweetheart, David Wallace Johnson. Together they built a beautiful life.

Ann was incredibly smart. She did everything well. She was very creative and artistic. She loved to dance. She enjoyed spending time decorating her home and working in her garden. She knew every nursery rhyme and loved sharing them with her grandchildren. Special occasions and holidays were her favorite and it brought her great joy to bring them to life with her elaborate decorations and parties thrown for family and friends.

She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed studying and teaching the Gospel and will be remembered for the wonderful lessons she shared. But above all else, she adored being with her family-especially her husband, Dave.

Ann and Dave were truly inseparable. They traveled, served in many church callings, worked in the Jordan River Temple, and owned a family business together. After his tragic accident that left him a quadriplegic, she cared for him for ten years and never complained. She was a noble example to those around her of how to love and serve. She has missed him terribly since he passed nearly seven years ago, and we are sure that the reunion they had was one for the books!

The last several years of her life, Ann remained strong as she battled head trauma, dementia, and breast cancer. She never lost her spunk or ability to make those around her laugh. She is already deeply missed.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents; her brother and sister Don and Jolene; and her beloved husband Dave.

She is survived by her brother Rich; her children Anjie (Kim) Barney, Shane (Holly) Johnson, Carla (Darron) Kroll, and Troy (Sarah) Johnson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Sandy, UT 84092; followed by a graveside service and interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 "N" Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84103.
