Mrs. Horein was a life time resident of this area.
She was born in Madison Twp., Feb. 10, 1891 and as Edna E. Schutz she married Mr. Horein in that township, May 3, 1910.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Calvin Horein of South Bend: two daughters, Mrs. Esther Heinke, and Mrs. Pearl Smith both of Mishawaka; six-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Kenneth Bassets also of Mishawaka.
Another daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Mark, died in 1948.
Mrs. Horein was a member of St. Andrew's United Church of Christ.
She had been employed by Uniroyal for 20 years before she retired.
