Nasario D. Trujillo, long time Tucumcari, NM resident passed away on Monday September 5, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. He was know to his many friends as Tarzan. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching game shows, boxing and wrestling. He was a member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church. He was a great man and will be missed dearly.
Surviving him are his children, Helen Apodaca, Ramona Lynn & Jim and Judy Trujillo. Also surviving are three granddaughters, Stephanie Apodaca, Suzanna Apodaca and Brandi & Ben Torres Trujillo; four grandsons, David Trujillo & Stephanie, Felix Apodaca & Tiffany, James Lynn and Kenneth Lynn; fourteen great grandchildren; and twelve great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Elena Trujillo; wife, Frances Trujillo; son, Nasario Trujillo and daughter in-law, Mary Lou Trujillo; and grandson, Lorenzo Lynn and by son in-law, Manuel Apodaca.
Rosary will be recited on Saturday September 17, 2022, in the St. Anne's Catholic Church beginning at 12:30 PM with Funeral Mass following in the St. Anne's Catholic Church beginning at 1:00 PM with Rev Fr. Johnpaul Afuecheta as Celebrant. Pall bears will be David Trujillo, Felix Apodaca, James Lynn, Kenneth Lynn, Jason Beltran and Freddie Beltran. Interment will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering following services will be at Hammond Hall.
