Funeral services for James Morlan were held Friday.
James Henry Morlan was born August 30, 1879 at Plano, Iowa, and moved when a small boy with his parents to Mystic, Iowa and in 1913 to Dunseith, North Dakota. He was married to Maude Peterson December 1, 1917, at Rolla, North Dakota and in 1940 they came to Kellogg, Idaho and to Spokane in 1944. He has lived in Chelan for the past five months. He died at his home here after a long illness.
Survivors, besides his wife include two daughters, Mrs. Myer Quam of Chelan and Mrs. Alvin Martin of Dunseith, North Dakota; four sisters, Mrs. J. E. Milburn, Mrs. L. C. Melburn, Mrs. Clara Elgin, all of Mystic, Iowa and Mrs. William Cox of Rockford, Illinois, and three grandchildren.
