Sally Elizabeth (Brizendine) Poole was born about 1928 in Sumner County, Tennessee, the daughter of James M "Jim" Brizendine (1863–1930) and his 3rd wife Mary "Bell" (Presley) (Carter) Brizendine (ca 1880–12 Aug 1955).
She attended Gallatin High School, and she was married on May 30, 1950 in Franklin, Kentucky as the 1st wife of Robert Douglas Poole (1929–1991). They had at least 4 children.
Sally was in Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi and 53 years old and was ill for an extended time when she died on January 11, 1981. {Her obituary listed her as married when she died, but public records show that her husband - or ex-husband - was married 2nd in 1976.}
Survivors included two sons in Pearl, Mississippi, a married daughter in Franklin, Kentucky, a 2nd married daughter in Pearl and a grandchild.
Funeral Services were held in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, and her body was cremated there.
