Peggy Irvin Hunter, age 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2022.
Peggy entered into this life on April 3, 1928 in Laurel, Mississippi to the late Thomas William Irvin and Eula Clifton Irvin. She was a retired school teacher, a career in which she took great pride educating and expanding the minds of the children she cared so much for. Additionally, Peggy was a member of the church family at Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she belonged to the Loyalty Sunday School Class.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harley "Lynn" Hunter.

Survivors include her sister, Jean Ross; nephew, Dave Thomas Windam; family by marriage, Gail and Ron Anderson, David Adams, Tom Adams, Hunter Anderson, Lynn Hunter Rogers, David Rogers, and Elaine Albertson. She will also be sadly missed by her close friends, Jewell Painter, Bob Tidwell, and Andy Hollis.

No local services are planned. Peggy's remains will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Live Oak Cemetery, Live Oak, Florida.
