Mrs. Lula Curtis Henderson, 71, widow of Horace Henderson, died yesterday at a Washington hospital. She was a native of King George County, where she resided until about four years ago. Since then she had lived in Fredericksburg and Washington.
Surviving are two sons, W. Clifford Curtis, of this city, and George M. Curtis, of Washington; two brothers, Gordon Jones, of King George County, and Wallace Jones, of Stafford County; a sister, Mrs. Edmonia Clift, of King George County, and several step-children and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Fletcher's Chapel in King George County at 3 p. m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Wroten, pastor. The funeral procession will leave the Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Home here at 2:15 p. m. tomorrow for the church.
Active pallbearers will be Hugh Curtis, Brodie Curtis, Frank Curtis, Roy Jones, Floyd Henderson and Shepherd Adams. The stewards of the church will be honorary pallbearers.
