Brother Paul Gene Huskey, age 74, of Tomahawk, Arkansas, died Friday, February 1, 2008.

He was born September 9, 1933, at Anderson Flat, Arkansas, to William Otto and Ruby Carr Huskey.

On November 23, 1952, he married Ethel C. "Connie" Barnett at Tomahawk.

He was a lifetime area native, and U.S. Army Korean War veteran, and a Southern Baptist minister. Brother Huskey was ordained in 1962, and pastored churches in Burlington, Concord, Norfork, Searcy, Desha, Belleview, Lone Rock, Warren, Tomahawk, Wooster, Antioch, Myron, and was currently serving as pastor of the Bruno Baptist Church. He had owned and operated the Norfork Café.

Survivors are: his wife: Ethel C. "Connie" Huskey: of the home; three sons: Brother Gene (Sheila) Huskey: Benton; Brother Doug (Nadine) Huskey: Norfork; Brother Jimmy Dale (Micha) Huskey: Eros; three daughters: Sue (Jim) Moore: Waco, Texas; Stella (Rusty) McFall: Norfork; and Teresa (Toby) Hatfield: Tomahawk; three brothers: Ted Huskey: Joplin, Missouri; Lex Huskey and Joe Huskey: both of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri; two sisters: Iva Shaw: Anderson Flat; and Emma Campbell: Sedalia, Missouri; 21 grand-children; 13 great-grand-children; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter: Eula Faye Smith; and two brothers: Harman Lee and Carl Huskey.

Arrangements were by: Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home. Funeral Services were at Tomahawk Baptist Church with interment in Tomahawk Cemetery.
