Mrs. Manie A. Taylor
Funeral services were held at Waterloo, Iowa, on April 27, for Mrs. Manie A. Taylor, 96, mother of Mrs. Ben (Barbara) Pannkuk, Wisconsin Rapids. She died of a heart condition on April 25 at Waterloo.
Mrs. Taylor was born at Strawberry Point, Iowa, on April 23, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus E. Axtell. She married Dr. Morrison A. Taylor at Strawberry Point on Sept. 29, 1897. She was graduated from Elkader (Iowa) Academy, and was a member of the Christian Church of Clarksville, Iowa, and of the Order of Eastern Star,
Mrs. Taylor is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hester Defabaugh, Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Pannkuk, currently in Manhattan, Kan.; four grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be designated to the Children's Ward of Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo.
