Funeral services for Samuel Corenflos, 37 years old, 3006 North Eighteenth Street, who died at 6:05 o'clock Monday evening of injuries suffered when he was hit in teh head by a pitched ball at a miners' picnic baseball game, will be held at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Thomas Funeral Home.
The Rev. L. E. Peyton will officiate at the services and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Lawton-Byrum Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, of which Corenflos was a member will conduct military rites.
Coroner D. M. Ferguson held an inquest yesterday morning and returned a verdict of accidental death due to a fractured skull and hemorrhage. Corenflos had been in a critical condition in St. Anthony's hospital since he was hit Aug. 12 while taking his turn at bat for the Viking team. He had been unconscious most of the time.

His condition has been listed as "critical" since he was rushed to the hospital immediately following the accident.
At an inquest Tuesday morning, County Coroner D. M. Ferguson returned a verdict of accidental death due to a fractured skull and hemorrhage.
A veteran of World War II, Mr. Corenflos was a member of Fort Harrison Post 40, American Legion, and the Lawton-Byrum Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by two daughters, Miss Joan Corenflos and Miss Janet Sue Corenflos, both of Gary, Ind.; two brothers, Victor and Francois Corenflos, both of Terre Haute, and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Saberton of Terre Haute and Mrs. Augustine Banta of R. R. 1, West Terre Haute. The body was taken to the Thomas Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening.
