Funeral services for Anita Joyce Blair will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia, Louisiana at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Arcadia. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m.
Anita was born July 19, 1952, in Bakersfield, CA., and passed away September 3, 2022, in Arcadia, LA. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent her life taking care of others. She was the neighborhood mom to so many that she welcomed with opened arms. While working as a CNA, she took on patients as family, often including them in holiday festivities with family. She had a heart of gold. She was patient, genuine, giving, forgiving and selfless.
She is preceded by her parents, Leroy Brackett and Maxine Wren Brackett.
