Mrs. Joan Elinor Davis, 87, of Hildebran, passed away on Sunday September 4, 2022, at her residence after a period of declining health.
Mrs. Davis was born October 17, 1934, in Niagara Falls, NY, a daughter of the late Murray and Elizabeth Bartha Amey. Joan retired from Sprint Telephone Co. as an operator, and after retirement worked at Target until she was into her 80s.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Davis.
Surviving are her son, Tom Davis and wife Lisa of Lenoir. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Richard Carter, Kaitlyn Davis, Cameron Stephens and great-grandchildren, Vera, Carson and Abigail.
A private Interment will be in Catawba Memorial Park, beside her husband, at a later date.
