Albert W. G. (Bill) Ervine, 100, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, September 2nd, 2022.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Roberta R. Ervine, of Armonk, New York, and by his sons Jonathan and David of Vilonia.

Ruth R. Ervine, his wife of 54 years, predeceased him in 2006.

Bill was born August 1st, 1922, in Baltimore, Maryland, and grew up in Tallahassee, Florida.

After combat service in Europe during WWII, Bill graduated from the University of Auburn and the University of Michigan. Bill retired from DuPont in 1985 after 35 years of service as an engineer, working mainly at the then Dupont-owned Remington Arms.

A funeral service will be at Beryl Baptist Church in Vilonia, AR., on Tuesday, September 6th at 2:00 PM. Interment will be beside his wife in the Vilonia cemetery. James Miller, Bill's longtime friend of nearly 40 years, will give the eulogy.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Beryl Baptist Church's benevolence fund.
