Clarence was the son of Alvin D. Robinson and Laura "Lottie" Gault of Sandwich and later Ashland. (Note: he was born under the name Clarence Earl Crockett to Charles H. Crockett age 44 and Rosy A. Gault age 17 and raised by his Aunt Lottie.)

In 1920 he was 12 and in the household of Alvin D. and Laura Robinson in Sandwich. His younger sister Effie Crockett was also in the household.

He married Lila Chamberlain June 16, 1917 in Ashland. They were later divorced.

In 1920 he was a teamster boarding in Bridgewater along with Ashley Gault who also later resided in Ashland. He was also enumerated in Ashland with Alvin and Laura and sister Effie.

On January 9, 1922 he married Harriet Comett of Ashland, born Concord Vermont. She was the daughter of Edmond and Lillian Commett of Ashland, Father born Canada and mother in Vermont.

His children were: Arnold Leeland Robinson, Thelma Louise Robinson, Clarence Alvin Robinson, Elaine G. Robinson and Raymond Earl Robinson.

In the 1930 census Clarence E. age 32 and Harriet age 26 were living in Sandwich. They had children Arnold age 7, Thelma age 6, Clarence A. age 2 and Elaine G. age 11 mos. Clarence was working as a general farm laborer.

In 1940, still in Sandwich, he was working on a road project. He and Harriet had all four of the children from the 1930 census and in addition had added son Raymond age 7 and Richard (grandson) age 4 mos to the household. (Richard Reister)

In addition to the children above, they had a stillborn daughter in 1933, also buried here April 20, 1933.

Note: His children also buried in this lot are attached to the incorrect Clarence Robinson although the mother is correct. I will leave edits. Their son Raymond Earl Robinson's wife Beverly also has a stone in the lot. She was married to Raymond's brother Clarence A. "Bum" Robinson after the death of their respective spouses.
