Roxie, little daughter of Everly and Mary Allum, died of bronchial pneumonia, April 13, 1901. Aged 10 years 9 months and 10 days.
The parents will never more hear
The tread of their darling's feet,
Nor the sound of that dear sweet voice;
In childish accents sweet.
Safe in the heavenly fold,
Clad in pure garments of white,
Wearing a beautiful crown,
She is now an angel of light.
Jesus loves the little children
Loves in such a tender way.
That he takes them to his bosom,
So they cannot lose the way.
Takes them to his home in glory,
Ever there with him to be,
Who says in the bible story
Suffer such to come to me.
