ALFRED NICHOLS, 74, OF VIOLA, IS DEAD
VIOLA, Ill., April 27.--(Special)--Alfred Nichols, 74 years of age, died at the home of his sister, Mrs[.] John Tary of Viola at 11 o'clock this morning. He had been ill about three weeks. Mr[.] Nichols had spent the greater part of his life in the vicinity of Aledo and Viola. He was formerly a farmer. He had resided with his sister in Viola for several months. His sister survives. Mr[.] Nichols never married.
Funeral services will be held from the home of his sister, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the Korns [sic] cemetery near Matherville.
