Kirt D. Allison, 52, of New London, MO, passed away at 3:34 PM, Monday, August 29, 2022, at University Hospital Columbia in Columbia, MO.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Pastor Faye Vaughn and Pastor Charnissa Scott will officiate.
Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in New London, MO.
Friends and Family are invited to Kirt's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the funeral home.
Kirt was born May 12, 1970, in Hannibal, MO to Charles James Allison Sr. and Joann Murphy Allison.
Survivors include his mother, Joann Allison; son, Miles Allison; two brothers, Charles J. Allison Jr. (Mavis), and Robert Lee Allison; five sisters, Theresa Johnson (James), Janet Allison, Kathy Allison, Mary Marshall (Roger), and Barbara Allison; and two grandchildren, Kian Allison Jr., and J'Kayla Allison. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Kirt was preceded in death by his father; one son, Kian Allison; and one sister, Sandra Allison.
Professionally, Kirt worked in construction.
Away from work, Kirt enjoyed being outdoors. Riding side by sides and detailing cars were Kirt's favorite hobbies. A foodie, Kirt enjoyed his sister's liver and onions and his mother's pork chops. Kirt loved cheese and put it on everything. Watching Life with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence and listening to all genres of music were things Kirt enjoyed. Most of all, Kirt enjoyed his time with his family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Charles Allison, Colin Allison, Darneil Allison, Diamanthe McGruder, DeWayne Wells, and Randy Wells.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles J. Allison Jr., Kevin Steinman, Keith Steinman, Lee Steinman, and James Johnson.
