Stella Faye Wood, aged 80, of Woodbridge, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
Stella was born in Carroll County, Va. to George McKinley Moles and Lala Keith. She graduated from Hillsville High School in June 1960 and worked in Washington D.C. as a secretary for various private companies until after her marriage to Gary Earl Wood on December 31, 1971. Her husband, Gary, served in the United States Marine Corps. in Vietnam, until his honorable discharge in 1969.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, six sisters, and a nephew. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Wood of Woodbridge, sister, Gana Blackmon of Heath Springs, SC, and her numerous nieces and nephews.
Her daughter, Lisa, would like to express her deep appreciation to their church, Calvary Baptist, and friends and family for all their love and support during this difficult time.
