Carl David Clayberger, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Jefferson Lansdale Hospital, Hatfield Twp., PA. He was 74.

He was the loving husband of Sandra B. (Burkhalter) Clayberger. The couple had celebrated their 45th Wedding Anniversary on June 25, 2022.

Born in Lewisburg, PA, he was the son of the late Leon E. and Mary H. (Basom) Clayberger. A 1966 graduate of Shikellamy High School, Sunbury, PA, he attained his Bachelor of Science Degree from Tennessee Temple College, Chattanooga, TN, and later his Associate's Degree in Accounting from Bucks County Community College, Newtown, PA.

He was employed as a tax preparer for Liberty Tax, Hatboro, PA, for five years until retiring in 2017. Previously, he was employed as a temporary worker in accounts bookkeeping including a five-year term with the former Delbar Products, Inc., Perkasie. He taught English at the Upper Bucks Christian School, Sellersville, PA, for a number of years. And, in his younger years, he was employed as a machinist.

Mr. Clayberger was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Quakertown, PA, where he served as the Church Treasurer for seven years until December 2021. He volunteered as an interpreter for the deaf at a previous church association.

A computer enthusiast, he loved collecting HO Scale Model Trains. He especially enjoyed traveling and driving throughout the United States and Canada over the years.

Surviving with his wife are a son, Howard P. Clayberger, of Perkasie; four brothers, John E. Clayberger, of Carlisle, PA, Leon R. Clayberger and his wife Susan, of Lewistown, PA, Jay A. Clayberger and his wife Joyce, of Lewisburg, PA, and Ray A. Clayberger and his wife Susan, of Kreamer, PA; a sister, Karen S. Geise and her husband Ralph, of Sunbury; and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Highland Park Campmeeting Tabernacle, 415 Highland Park Road, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Interment will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, in St. Stephen's United Church of Christ Cemetery, 1101 West Market Street, Perkasie, PA.
