BANTA, Alta E.
In Loving Memory of Alta E. Banta, longtime member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Palmdale. Passed away in Banning, California at the age of 97. She was born Alta Ethlyn Snodgrass to William and Kathryn in Raymond, Washington on December 21, 1910. She and her five siblings migrated to California in a covered wagon, when she was just nine years old. She married Hugh Clark and had seven children, and later married Francis Banta. She leaves behind, one younger sister Ellen Cooper, 94, residing in Springfield, Mo., and five children, Marvin Clark in Banning, Calif., Tom Clark in Indiana, Patricia York in Boron, Calif., Bonnie Page in Washington, Michael Clark in North Carolina, and 30 grandchildren, 47 great- grandchildren, and 33 great-great- grandchildren. She will be greatly missed!!!! There will be a small private family services, pending.
