Northwood, NH - Pauline (Dion) Wilson, 78, of Mountain Avenue, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008 at her home. She was born in Cambridge, MA on March 23, 1929 the daughter of Charles and Jennie Mae (Linnell) Dion. She graduated from Somerville High School in 1947 and lived in Somerville for 40 years, summering in Northwood since 1955 and moving there permanently in 1969. She was a housekeeper for the NH State Supreme Court for 18 years retiring in 1990. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Northwood Congregational Church and the Harvey Lake Women's Club. She attended the Seniors Group in Northwood and participated in Thursday activities. She was a member of the HoneyBees while her late husband served in the SeaBees. She dearly loved her grandchildren and was an avid Red Sox fan. Her husband of 48 years, George L. Wilson, died in 1996. Her son, David, died in 2003 and she was also predeceased by her sister, Jean Powers. Members of her family surviving include a daughter, Brenda Johnson and her husband, Tom of Northwood, NH; a daughter-in-law, Carol Wilson of Northwood, NH; four grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jennie Mae Johnson and Matthew Wilson all of Northwood, NH and Erica Lethiecq and her husband, Robert of Concord, NH; her sister-in-law, Anita Murray of Reading, MA; nieces, nephews, and her best friend, her cat, Angel. Friends may call at the Northwood Congregational Church on Sat., Jan. 26, 2008 from noon until 1:45. A service will follow at the church at 2:00 P.M. with The Rev. Gail Murphy, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Northwood, NH in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Northwood Congregational Church, 881 First NH Turnpike, Northwood, NH 03261.
