Barbara Lorene Bleazard-Davis-Hankins, 76 of Nortonville passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway. Born August 20, 1946, to the late Isaiah Payne and Coalene (Campbell) Payne Cansler of Nortonville. She was a dedicated Christian and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse until retirement from Bradford Heights Nursing in Hopkinsville. Being a caregiver came naturally to her in all areas of her life, at home, at work, with her immediate and extended family. If she saw someone in need she began trying to help.
Preceded in death by her parents; son, Phillip Bleazard; husband of 37 years, Henry Bleazard and husband, Larry Davis; sisters, Patricia Lemons and Alice Clark; and brother, Phyllis Payne.
Survived by her daughter, Mishell Buhring of Nortonville; 4 grandchildren, Coalena Bleazard of TX, Kayla Bleazard, Samantha Buhring and Cassidy Buhring all of Nortonville; 5 great-grandchildren, Kinsley Bleazard, Phillip Bleazard, Charlie Williams, Julian Williams and Inanna Jackson; daughter-in-law, Lorie Bleazard; and sister, Aquilla Johnson.
Service will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Brad Payne officiating. Burial to follow at Shaw Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm at the funeral home.
