Funeral services for Mrs. Bettie Louise Crockette, 43, of 1547 Garden St., will be at 4 pm today at Good Samaritan Funeral Home. Mrs. Crockette, a Caddo Parish school teacher for 18 years, died last week. She was a lifelong resident of Shreveport, a graduate of Grambling State University and had taught at Herndon High School, Central Junior High School, Linear Junior High School, and A. C Steere Elementary School.
At the time of her death, she was a teacher at Linwood Junior High School.
The Rev. L. D. Scott, pastor of Avenue Baptist Church, will officiate at services and burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery
Survivors include her husband, Banks Crockette; a son, Todd Crockette of Shreveport; a daughter, Tara Louise Crockette of Shreveport; and a brother, Rudy Martin of Shreveport.
