Mrs. Marian Beal Gardner
January 28, 1952 - August 20, 2022

Marian Lou Beal Gardner, 70, of Robertsdale, Alabama passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022 after a six year battle with COPD. Marian was born on January 28, 1952 to William and Hazel Beal in Mobile, Alabama. After graduating from Satsuma High School in 1970, she went on to study Psychology at the University of South Alabama, earning a bachelor's degree and a master's degree. Marian worked for a number of years as a Master's Level Clinical Psychologist at Searcy Hospital, Mobile Psychological Associates, and later in her own private practice.
Marian is survived by her husband of forty-nine years Lawrence, sons Russell (Cheri) Geismar, LA; Phillip, Pensacola, FL; Thomas (Mary) Winchester, VA and preceded in death by son Matthew. Survived by sister Patsy Forehand, Stapleton, AL, preceded in death sisters Jean Hartley (Roy), Elberton, GA and Peggy Sanders, Elberton, GA. Survived by grand children Alexis (Devin) Savoy, Liam Gardner, Ava Gardner, Lola Gardner, William Gardner and James Gardner.
Marian was involved with the Mobile Jayceettes in the 1980's working with Azalea Trail Maids as a sponsor. She was also a member of the Saraland-Satsuma Jayceettes and was heavily involved in the Satsuma 4th of July Celebrations at Lions Park for multiple years in the 1990's. After retirement she kept busy along with husband Lawrence breeding and showing AKC Conformation Labrador Retrievers under the name Dewberries Labradors. In addition, she worked with Lawrence in building and operating Gardner's Berry Farm for U-Pick Blackberries and Blueberries. She was one that enjoyed a quiet life watching the deer in the rural countryside of Baldwin County.
Marian requested cremation of her remains as well as no funeral service. The family will host a Celebration of Life program in the Fall at a date to be determined for friends and family.
