Jeffrey L. Foust, 52 of Huntington passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne. Jeff was a 1988 graduate of Marion High School. He served as an EMT at Wishard in Indianapolis, a firefighter / EMT at several stations including Wayne Township in Marion County, Center Township in Marion, Southwest Fire Department in Allen County. Jeff had worked at Fort Wayne Airport as a Public Safety Officer. He attended Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and transferred to Fort Wayne Police Department where he was a Patrol Officer/Detective/SWAT/ATF and Bomb Squad. Jeff retired in 2021. He enjoyed classic car restoration, hunting, and fishing. Jeff played the guitar and sang, he loved music. He loved to cook and was a self-proclaimed grill master. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Jeff was born on May 17, 1970 in Marion, Indiana, the son of James and Victoria (Poor) Foust.
He married Shelly Roby on September 19, 2009 in Fort Wayne. Shelly survives.
Additional survivors include his parents: Jim and Vickie Foust of Huntington; a daughter: Brittany (Chris Brown) Foust of Oklahoma; two sons: Justin Foust of Fort Wayne, Corbin Martin of Indianapolis; five grandchildren: Wesley Houtz, Lillian Houtz, Levi Brown, Emberlynn Brown and Bry Brown.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 12:00 pm with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at the Monument City Cemetery.
