Her entire life was spent in Eureka, where she received her education in the city schools and after teaching in Greenwood County entered Kansas State College at Manhattan. While attending college she joined the Delta Zeta sorority.
As a girl she was confirmed in Christ's Lutheran Church April 12, 1914. Sibyl was a faithful and devotoed church worker, loyal in attending to her loving ministry to the children in that department for almost two years. She was slso for one year a willing teacher in the Week Day Religious Education work offered in our public schools.
She was a member of Queen Bess Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, having been a Past Matron and a member of the Past Matron's Club, of District 26.
On September 19, 1926, she was married to Arthur O. Teichgraebar at Eureka, in the Lutheran Church. Although her earthly life has been cut short, her influence and many deeds of kindness and love will live in the hearts of her many friends.
He father passed away July 21, 1931, and those of her family left to miss her are her mother, Mrs. W.O. Blackburn; a sister, Mrs. Joe White; a brother-in-law, Joe White; an uncle, John Rudolph, all of Eureka, and several cousins.
Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon, December 9, at 3:00 o'clock, from Baird Funeral Home, with Rev. R.R. Pfeiffer in charge. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
